We love good scientific questions!  Here’s what we are currently asking:

• Do ALS mutations disrupt astrocytes’ response to inflammatory cues?

 

 

• Are there persistent organic pollutants out there that lead to an ALS-like phenotype in our stem cell derived motor neurons?

   

  

 

 

• Why does mutant SOD1 seem to be more toxic to motor neurons than other cell types?

• (In collaboration with Prof. Michael Calter) Can we use natural products as a starting place for new anti-cancer analogs?
